Texas Defense and Firearm Training believes in preparing you to defend yourself and be able to treat medical trauma and first aid. Have a desire to help others learn how to be responsible gun owners? This course prepares you to a USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor. This 2 day course provides you the skills to teach others the USCCA instruction methods and training techniques. There is a prerequisite to this course. You must complete the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Online Course prior to taking the in class USCCA Instructor Course. This is also part of the registration cost. This course is the base of your instruction for the course you will be certified to instruct. We take instructing other instructors very seriously and this 2 day course is 2 days of serious learning and applying, you will be tested in several different ways. However, we will make sure you have all the knowledge and skills to be the best in the field.

USCCA INSTRUCTOR RECERTIFICATION CCHDF WORKSHOP
May 10th & 11th
This workshop is for USCCA Instructors where their certification lapse or instructors looking to improve their skills with instructing to others. Must have lost certification due to not teaching your 20 students per year. We will cover website use, teach backs, virtual range and instruction, classroom and range safety, and answering any other questions you may have to build upon your success.

This is a great opportunity to get familiarized with the USCCA curriculum, talk to other instructors and share information. Learn how to use the USCCA instructor tools efficiently and gain new students.

Treating Gun Shot Injuries Mini Course
June 14, 2025
Are you prepared to provide yourself lifesaving first aid? This course is about applying first aid to yourself and others around you in a critical incident where time is life or death. This course takes you through patient assessment, using MARCH and ABC/CBA's, and traumatic emergencies including Stop the Bleed and using tourniquets, blood clotting bandages, and chest seals. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a CAT 7 tourniquet and a USCCA Emergency First Aid Certificate. Course is $80.00.
This course is from 9am to 12pm and focuses on lifesaving steps during a
critical defensive situation if you are someone is injured while defending yourself. This is a hands on course!

CONCEALED CARRY & HOME DEFENSE
DEFENSIVE SIMULATIONS
June 21, 2025 9am to 4pm
Today's world we can be aware of our defense or oblivious to our defense. Being aware of our defense is not about being paranoid, but having the knowledge and skills to make the right or best decision for our safety. This course is revolutionary, as we will provide you knowledge to make those decisions, but also provide the skills through simulations using laser Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger training pistols and a large video media that allows the student to depict their actions based on the simulations. We will also train in the class to show the training needed to draw and make that shot if needed. We have many different simulations that will have several different outcomes that simulate our normal routines.
Bring your EDC holster, we will supply the SIRT training pistols for you to use. You will learn or re-enforce your situational awareness, de-escalation skills, and your fire / don't fire skills.
